CSR - Joining the Charter of Businesses against Climate Change
Business activity is the engine of economic growth. The 21st century brings new conditions for the organisation of businesses that affect their competitiveness and long-term viability.
The CCCI, as a collective body and mouthpiece of the Cypriot businesses, undertakes to promote a new strategy based on the development, dissemination and consolidation of corporate social responsibility as a competitive business advantage and as a contribution of businesses to the sustainable development of Cyprus and the major social and environmental challenges of our time.
To achieve this aim, the CCCI creates a platform for Corporate Responsibility. This platform, which is in constant evolution, promotes, supports and extends the interest of businesses in Cyprus to integrate in their strategy effective corporate responsibility activities.
The aim is to improve their economic performance, enhance their ability to manage risk and maximise the positive impact on society and the environment.
