Joining the Charter of Businesses Against Climate Change |

KOLARIDES INSTITUTE OF ACCOUNTANCY has commited and takes responsibility:
-
To mitigate the impact of business activity to the phenomenon of climate change.
- To help achieve the national target of Cyprus to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 15% by 2020.
- To support where possible the promotion of activities and programmes of the State in order to address the fight against climate change.

To help inform staff, customers, suppliers and partners on climate change.
Primarily focusing its efforts:

In taking measures to reduce carbon dioxide emmissions caused by business activities.

Systematic and effective measurement and monitoring of carbon dioxide emmissions of the operation and evaluation of performance with appropriate indicators.

In consideration of climate change in decisions taken by the Management for its operations and strategy.

In cooperation with the State, business, social, scientific and other bodies targeting to the dissemination of this initiative and encourage other organisations and companies to participate.
